Sunil Shamlal, President
Mr. Shamlal’s experience extends over 20 years in various aspects of IT consulting, information assurance, financial analysis, organizational assessment, procurement support, business management, requirements analysis, and teaching systems design as an adjunct IT professor at a 4-year university. Mr. Shamlal holds a Civil Engineering degree as well as an MBA from American University.
Tim Clifford, Executive Vice President
Mr. Clifford is responsible for program pursuit and execution activities. Mr. Clifford has over 25 years of professional experience focused on the delivery of IT-based services and systems to U.S. federal agencies. Mr. Clifford received his degree from Harvard and Master’s in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University.
Dale Williams, Director – Business Development
Mr. Williams provides Business Engineering, Acquisition Expertise, and SDLC support to the U.S. federal agencies. For 30 years, Mr. Williams has advised corporations and government agencies on issues of strategy, economics, markets, acquisitions and technologies. Mr. Williams received his degree from Yale.
Nate Gentzel, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Gentzel is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Horizon. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Gentzel oversees the financial, contracts/legal, human resources, recruiting and IT departments of the company. Mr. Gentzel received his Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his Master’s degree from Marymount University.
Dianne Gurdak, CFO
Ms. Gurdak is responsible for developing and executing Horizon’s financial strategy in conjunction with the COO. Ms. Gurdak works with the COO to oversee the contracts/legal, human resources and recruiting departments of the company. Ms. Gurdak graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University and her Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University Law School. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
